Dr. Siegal autographs his new book for fans at Fairview Pointe Claire Centre in Montreal, Quebec

I've been on the diet for 4 weeks and have lost close to 30 lbs. I recommend this to anyone who battles with their weight. The first couple of days were tough but after that I lost the cravings for most of the junk food. I feel better, I'm happier, which makes my wife and kids happier. Well worth the commitment! Thanks Dr. Siegel.
Steven, Montreal, Quebec, CA, November 17 2009

DR. SIEGAL REPLIES: You're welcome, Steven. GREAT job!
I just started this diet on Monday, November 16th. I bought a whole month supply worth of chocolate cookies from the Beverly Hills store. The cookies taste great despite what others have said. I started out with 190 lbs and have not weighed myself yet. I believe I should wait a week before doing so to notice some significant weight loss. I am not eating all six cookies as suggested because I do not get hungry as much. I only eat four cookies and have a frozen dinner with a vegetable such as a cucumber. It comes out to less than a 1,000 calories but my doctor suggested that i go on a diet anyway. Is it okay if i'm only eating four cookies out of six?
Diana, North Hollywood, CA, United States, November 18 2009

CONSUMER RELATIONS REPLIES: You should seek and follow your doctor's advice as to the right number of calories for you. Don't assume that the fewer calories you consume the greater success you'll enjoy for that isn't always the case.

This is my second day on the diet and I'm doing good so far. I don't feel hungry and I only had four cookies yesterday and one today so far (12:36pm). My question is do I have to eat all six cookies or I can eat less?
Markie, Paramus, NJ, United States, November 18 2009

DR. SIEGAL REPLIES: I frequently hear from my own patients that fewer than six cookies are enough to satisfy their hunger. Since you aren't my patient, my advice is to consult your doctor who, based on your medical history, is most qualified to advise and monitor you while you're on any diet.

I have been on the diet for 3 days and have lost 6 lbs - what a great jump start! I too like would like to have a "chat room" or interactive support site for others that are on this same diet plan. Certainly the quick weight loss is encouraging but support from others would be an added benefit!
Rikki, Decatur, IL, United States, November 14 2009

CONSUMER RELATIONS REPLIES: We're working on it, Rikki!

Hello, I started the diet on Oct. 23, 2009 buying a one months supply. Today is day 21 on the diet and I've lost 18 lbs 212lbs to 194lbs.. I can't believe I lost that much. I ordered my second months batch (because shipping seems to take about a week ). I'm really happy about this diet. It is so simple to follow and I haven't had any headaches or bad mood swings as I've had following other diet plans. I eat my meal (between 300-450 calories) a little earlier then suggest (between 3-4pm) that seems to work better for my body. I take my multi vitamin as well as a few others and drink plenty of water and green tea only. I'm hoping to stay on this diet for 3 months then re evaluate. It is working for me and I'm thrilled. A question though for the staff: How come there is no place for chat/tips/support/ encouragement for those on the cookie diet. I've searched the internet and really have found most people putting down this diet and not welcoming cookie dieters in their forums or just ignored. It would be nice to be able to share this experience with others doing it, so far it's been a lonely diet. I will update how I'm making out on this diet again. Thank's Dr. Seigal
Chrissy, Raymond, NH, United States, November 12 2009

Wow! Wow! Wow! Two weeks have passed and I am not feeling deprived or hungry. I have lost 15 pounds to date. Wow! Wow! Wow!
Beth, Winchester, VA, United States, November 12 2009

DR. SIEGAL REPLIES: Wow indeed, Beth. If motivation is a key to successful weight loss (and believe me, it is), then you are as certain as anyone to succeed!

I started this diet oct 20 th, And i am so happy to report that i have lost a total of 10 pounds, I can see the inches falling off, and my co workers are commenting on the weight loss, My goal is to be 125, i have 25 more pounds to go, I do have to say the chocolate is the best cookie,
Kellie, Englewood, CO, United States, November 10 2009

I began this diet on Oct 24,2009 as of today Nov 10 I have lost 15 lbs. I would never have gotten my kick start if it hadn't been for the cookie. I plan on being 170 by February 2010.. I do have a question can you have almond milk on this diet? Thank you Dr. Siegal for giving me back my life and personality.
Debbie, Newland, NC, United States, November 10 2009

DR. SIEGAL REPLIES: You're welcome, Debbie. I'm glad my cookie helped but the hard part was yours. As for almond milk, I wouldn't recommend it. It's loaded with carbs (sugar) and will likely leave you hungry.

I just started this diet a week ago and it does work! It is the first diet I have been on and havent been hungry at all. I havent had a headache. At first the thought of one meal a day is a bit scary but I cant believe I am doing it and I am fine! Thank you for making something that really works!
Becky, Greensburg, PA, United States, November 08 2009

DR. SIEGAL REPLIES: You're welcome, Becky!

I am super excited to be down 9.8 lbs in only 8 days. I keep waking up during the night just to weigh myself because its fun! My husband is on his 3rd tour of duty and everytime he leaves I gain 30 lbs! he is coming home in March for some R&R and im hoping I lose 30 more by then. And maybe 50 before he gets home inAugust! Thank You I feel great!
LORI, TACOMA, WA, United States, November 08 2009

DR. SIEGAL REPLIES: Thanks for sharing, Lori. Great attitude!

I started the cookie diet on November 1st and have lost six pounds. The cookies taste good (especially the chocolate!), and control the hunger until dinner time. The best thing about this diet (besides the fast weight loss) is it teaches you to feed your hunger rather than your emotions. I'm excited, and I know this one will work!!
Kelly , Springfield, IL, United States, November 08 2009

DR. SIEGAL REPLIES: I'm glad to hear that you're off to a good start, Kelly. As for teaching you better eating habits, if it does, then the explanation falls under what is known as the Law of Unintended Consequences. I created my cookies simply as a means of controlling my patients' hunger and enabling them to stick to a low calorie diet. I hear comments like yours all the time and I'm happy if the phenomenon people report is real. But I can't claim to have deliberately created a product that "teaches" anything.

Hey Dr. Siegal , I just got my first set of cookies. GNC and all other stores were comletely sold out. My goal is to lose 30 pounds. My question is can you drink milk with the cookies?
Jayna, baton rouge, LA, United States, November 07 2009

DR.SIEGAL REPLIES: I have to confess that you're message gave me a good chuckle. As much as I enjoy milk and cookies like the next person, I'm afraid that milk is ill-advised on a weight-loss diet. Milk is loaded with sugars and that's not what you want when trying to keep hunger in check. As for the cookies being sold out at many stores, we're aware of the problem. Demand has skyrocketed recently. But I increased production and don't expect the temporary shortage to happen again.

My goal is to lose 20 lbs. for increased energy and to improve my overall health. I wanted a jumpstart and, after looking around, I began this diet on October 29th 2009. I am down 6 lbs. after 8 days. My energy is already on the rise and I am seeing a change in the way my clothes fit. I am also sleeping better...which is an unexpected bonus. As far as the diet goes... I look forward to my meal at night but really do not feel hungry during the day. I eat the cookies and am following the suggestions. After 8 days I am still very motivated. I think it is because I am never hungry. These cookies are working as promised.
Jill, Concord, NH, United States, November 06 2009

DR. SIEGAL REPLIES: Great attitude, Jill. You're on you're way!

I've been struggling with my weight problem my entire life. After I found Dr. Siegal's product, I immediately consulted my physician and we decided it was time for me to make a change and be serious about my diet. I was instructed to consume 1200 calories a day with plenty of water and a daily vitamin tablet. I have just received my box of cookies and cannot wait to start. I am currently 175lbs at 5'2" and plan to lose at least 60lbs. Thank you Dr. Siegal for this opportunity!
Brenda, Riverside, CA, United States, November 06 2009

DR. SIEGAL REPLIES: Thank you, Brenda, for getting off to a great start by involving your doctor in the process. There is no better way to ensure success on any diet.

I started the cookie diet on Monday and was off to a great start. However, staying full till dinner gets worse everyday. I go to the gym 5 times a week and I am not sure i have the energy to workout in the evening before dinner, when I'm starving ! I am going to stick with it because I have lost 5 pounds in only 3 days! Only 25 more to go ! With results like this I guess I just have to keep eating cookies.
Sandy , Lawrence, KS, United States, November 05 2009

DR. SIEGAL REPLIES: I'm a big fan of exercise as the way to keep the weight off for life. But if you're going to the gym five times a week while on a diet, and particularly if you're hungry, it's quite possible that you need to consume more calories to compensate for the ones you're burning off. Make sure you factor in the calories you burn through exercise when determining your true daily caloric intake.

I started the Dr. Siegal's cookie diet 3 days ago and have lost 3 lbs. The best part is I really think they are good. I have my favorite flavors, but actually look foward to eating them. Plus, I am not hungry in between and am full with a small lean cuisine for dinner. I am so excited about this diet. I only wish I had found it much sooner. I have about 80 lbs to loose and would love to do so by summer!!
Jennifer, Chino Hills, CA, United States, November 05 2009

DR. SIEGAL REPLIES: Great start, Jennifer! Now, to determine whether your goal is realistic, and how to ensure you reach it, be sure to use the weight-loss calculators in the Resources section.

HI, I started the Cookie Diet on 10/26 and have lost 10 pounds already! I am not eating all the six cookies suggested although I am having a 500 calorie meal for dinner. I am getting by with between 2-3 cookies a day and am not hungry for more. Is that OK not to eat all 6 cookies? Also, I have a question regarding frozen dinners...they all seem to have carbs such as rice, pasta or potatoes...so carbs are okay in frozen dinners you have suggested or any other frozen dinner as long as calories and protein count is good? Am I okay with lower than 1000/1200 calories a day as long as I am not hungry? Love the cookies and they really work!!
Betty, Miami, FL, United States, November 04 2009

DR. SIEGAL REPLIES: I'm glad you're seeing results and that your motivation is high. As for the number of calories you should consume, that is a matter to be discussed with your doctor. Lower is not necessarily better. If you're serious about getting to the finish line, visit your doctor and discuss what is the right amount of calories for you.

I was desperate seeing my daughter turn from a beautiful 5'7 150 lbs to a still beautiful but dangerous 310 lbs! - I pleaded with her and she went on the Dr. Siegal diet about 2-1/2 months ago, she has lost 32 lbs already! - She resides in Miami, and I am so looking for to go to Miami in December to see the results! Nothing worked before and she loves the cookies! Thank you Dr Siegal!
Mirtha, Alexandria, VA, United States, November 04 2009

DR. SIEGAL REPLIES: Thank you, Mirtha, for taking the time to share your story. I don't know whether or not your daughter is my patient here in Miami but, whoever her doctor is, she should check in frequently with him or her to maximize her prospects of reaching her goal weight.

Hello, I have been on the cookie diet for the last week and so far have been seeing results that I am very happy with. My mother noticed as well and would like to try to go on the cookie diet, only problem is that she has type B diabetes (not using insulin). Would she be able to go on the cookie diet? Or would that affect her sugar levels too much?
Mary, Montreal, Canada, November 04 2009

DR. SIEGAL REPLIES: I'm delighted that you're sticking to your diet and seeing results, Mary. As for your mother and her diabetes, that's a medical question that only her doctor can answer. Urge her to consult her doctor before making any changes to her diet.

Hi, I started a week ago. If it keeps coming off like this I'll be a lifer. I got a long way to go though. I'll keep you all posted.
Gayl, Bridgewater, CT, United States, November 03 2009

Well today is Monday, day 1. I just had foot surgery a few days ago & am layed up, doing nothing. What better time to start a diet. I like many people saw GMA and ordered immediately. My goal is to be 30 lbs. thinner by February 1. The testimonials are great..so I am hoping for great results as well. My exercise has to be upper body for a while along with this diet-so we'll see. Wish me luck!
Debbie, Blairstown, NJ, United States, November 02 2009

DR. SIEGAL REPLIES: I do wish you luck, Debbie, even though luck has nothing to do with it. Follow a reduced calorie diet and I guarantee you'll lose weight. Your goal (30 pounds in three months) requires you to lose ten pounds a month. That's not an uncommon rate at which to lose but it requires discipline. If you're serious about succeeding, be sure to have your doctor monitor your diet. Also, consider using the calculators found in the Resources section of CookieDiet.com.

I have recently ordered the cookies and I am excited!!! I am starting the cookies today on my Birthday!!! I thought what better way to make a change in my life than that day that would change my age!!! I will keep you updated!!!
Latoyia , Winston-Salem, NC, United States, November 02 2009

DR. SIEGAL REPLIES: I can't think of a better birthday present to give yourself, Latoyia, than improved health and appearance. Please keep us posted on your progress.

I have order a month supply of your cookie diet/shakes and looking forwarding to getting started once I receive your products being that I am over here in Iraq working as a contractor. I will be going on my vacation toward the last week of this month and hope to get started right away. I will send you a before and after picture once I see the difference in my appearance.
Susanne, APO, AE, United States, November 01 2009

DR. SIEGAL REPLIES: Thanks for writing, Susanne. I love hearing from our customers who are overseas and serving in the armed forces. Many have told me that it can be difficult following any reduced-calorie diet in such a challenging environment. I admire your determination and look forward to seeing your photos.

I have been on this diet for 6 days and lost six pounds! I weigh myself every morning and I'm consistantly losing a pound a day! It's great! Normally I would have cheated by now, but I think because it's a week by week thing I'm just trying to get through the week! Also, I know I'm going to get something good for dinner and the cookies taste good, especially warmed up! Thanks Dr. Siegal!
Joanna, Lakewood, CA, United States, November 01 2009

DR. SIEGAL REPLIES: You're welcome, Joanna, but you may be setting yourself up for disappointment. The most fat that one can burn is about a half pound a day, and on 1,000 calories the rate is a little less. At the beginning of a diet, weight (not fat) loss can occur somewhat faster but it doesn't stay at that rate for long. I'm sure you won't complain if you see ten pounds or so come off each month.

I saw your show on Good Morning America and went out that day in search of the cookies. Our GNC did not have them but they ordered them for me and i received them on a Tuesday evening and started them on Wednesday. I have been on them for almost 2 weeks and I have lost 13 pounds. I am eating what i want for supper and eating your cookies for morning and lunch meals. I just signed up to order from you direct even though it is cheaper to order from GNC. I wanted to try the other flavors. I need to lose at least another 80 pounds but this will make it easier. Thanks for listening to Women it makes a difference when a Dr. Listens.
Brenda, Biloxi, MS, United States, November 01 2009

DR. SIEGAL REPLIES: I've heard that hundreds of GNC and Walgreens stores have had trouble keeping the cookies in stock. That problem should ease very soon as we have dramatically increased production in our bakery. As for your weight loss, I'm glad that you're off to a good start. By all means, see your doctor as often as he or she feels is necessary. Your chances for success will be far greater if your doctor monitors you while you lose.

This morning begins my 5th day of the cookie diet. I really like the cookies. The consistency and taste appeals to my cravings. I have lost 8.4 pounds by following exactly what you said except that I do have some cashews during my evening meal. I had been eating part of an apple, but I didn't have any last night. I am totally amazed by this rapid reduction. I know it won't be like this throughout the whole diet, but it certainly is motivating me to keep going!! Thanks!
Beth, Winchester, VA, United States, November 01 2009

DR. SIEGAL REPLIES: It's not unusual at the beginning of a diet to see dramatic weight loss but remember that not all the weight one loses comes from fat. On 1,000 calories a day, the average adult loses around ten pounds of fat per month. Any diet plan that promises much more than that should be avoided.

2 years ago I was in my senior year at pastry school. I went home for break and found that my aunt had lost a great deal of weight. She told me that she was on dr. siegal's cookie diet and that she loved it. i went back to school for my spring semester with a few boxes of cookies. I found that even though I was around fresh baked-goods everyday that i could keep to this diet. i lost 30 lbs in about 2 months. If I could do it.. anyone can!
Rachel, Philadelphia, PA, United States, October 31 2009

DR. SIEGAL REPLIES: Great story, Rachel. I'm sure the chocolate eclairs with which you were undoubtedly surrounded were tempting. I'm glad you had the willpower to resist and I'll bet you are, too.

I started your cookie diet last week and I have lost 5 lbs. I have been on every diet imagineable. The BEST thing about this diet is that you know if you are putting ANYTHING in your mouth before dinner you are CHEATING. That makes it good for us "grazers". The is no guessing about what to eat or when to eat it. You don't have to pre-pack all your food for the day, you did it for us. I can't wait to lose this last 30 lbs. I will send you the before and after then!
Maureen, Bristol, TN, United States, October 29 2009

DR. SIEGAL REPLIES: With that kind of enthusiasm you're going to get to the finish line, Maureen! Now, keep going and don't stop until you reach your goal. In my experience, those who stick to a diet without falling off the wagon before reaching their goal are far more likely to get there. When people "take a break" from their diet they rarely resume it until they've gained back the weight they lost.

I started the diet cookie 10/28 and to my surprise I only ate 5 cookies. I had a fzn dinner and yogurt for dinner with 3oz of orange juice-for my immune system. I was surprised that I wasn't hungry although I did keep thinking about snacking. In one just day I realized I eat without being hungry which explains my weight gain! I skimmed thru most of the book but couldn't find anything in regards to eating fruit. Is it allowable?
Fanny, Chicago, IL, United States, October 29 2009

DR. SIEGAL REPLIES: Fruit? If you aren't hungry (which would surprise me) and are sticking to a reduced-calorie diet then go ahead. But it's definitely a no-no on Dr. Siegal's Cookie Diet. Fruit is fine once you reach your goal and are living a lifetime weight maintenance lifestyle, Fanny, but not during the weight-losing phase. Fruit is mostly sugar (that is, carbohdyrate) and carbs can stimulate hunger. The suggested diet is six cookies during the day to be eaten at hunger times and a reasonable dinner of chicken, fish, or turkey and some steamed green vegetables for dinner.

Dr. Siegal I started my cookie diet today! The cookies really did control my hunger during the day. However I was wondering if it would be possible to eat low calorie frozen dinners instead of protein and veggies? I work full time, go to school full time and I don't have the time to actually cook in the evening. It would make my life so much easier if I could just pop in a frozen dinner in the microwave! Thanks!!!
RR, San Jose, CA, United States, October 22 2009

DR. SIEGAL REPLIES: Absolutely. In fact, frozen dinners are good because there's no guessing as to the nutritional breakdown (calories, carbs, fat, and protein). In Dr. Siegal's Cookie Diet Book, I provide guidelines for choosing frozen foods and a list of those that meet the requirements.

I just started the diet on 10/20 and so far so good. The cookies really help satisfy my hunger. I do have a question. If I haven't seen a doctor yet, is there a big difference between eating 1000 or 1200 calories. Will my body think I am starving if I am suppose to have 1200 but I am only doing 1000. I feel fine and I have been on it for 3 days.
Sofie, Los Angeles, CA, United States, October 22 2009

DR. SIEGAL REPLIES: That's not quite it. The reason why you should see your doctor before starting any diet is that your doctor may have reasons why you shouldn't be on a diet or why one diet may be more appropriate than another, based on your medical history. Also, I believe that those who follow a diet under their doctor's supervision have a greater success rate.

Hi, I just ordered the one month starter kit. I have been way overweight for quite awhile and am excited to start. I have heard very good things about this diet. If I lose quite a bit of weight in the first month, I will probably continue to order this.
Ashley, Fort Collins, CO, United States, October 22 2009

DR SIEGAL REPLIES: Ashley, I'm glad that you've made the decision to lose the excess weight. However, I fear that you are setting yourself up for failure. It's the word "if" that worries me. There must be no "ifs" if you are to succeed. I assume by "if" you mean "if the cookie works and I lose weight." No food, including my cookie, will make you lose weight. What will make you lose weight will be following a reduced-calorie diet. The cookies will help at hunger times but the weight will only come off if you're motivated and do what you know you must. Now get to it!

I'm sorry but I may be the biggest skeptic you have ever come across!! I can't even begin to tell you how many diets I have tried from pills, to prepacked food, to powdered drinks, to stuff you sprinkle on your food!!! And thats jjust to name a few!!!! And they all have some sort of page where people are claiming it is the miracle they have waited for, but they weren't miracles for me!!! Just another dissappoitment!! So I ordered a 1 week supply of the cookies & I will try them out! I'm so tired of throwing money away, but if these cookies really control my hunger & if I even lose a couple of pounds in that week, I will buy a 28 day supply gladly!!
Laurie, Poland, NY, United States, October 22 2009

DR. SIEGAL REPLIES: Laurie, you've solved your own mystery. Those diets you've tried that used words like "magic" and "miracle" were doomed to fail before you even started. There's no magic to weight loss, and nothing miraculous about my diet or anyone else's. To lose weight you need to create a caloric deficit. It's that simple. Under the best of circumstances, losing weight is nobody's idea of fun. My cookie is intended to take the edge off of your hunger so that you can lose weight by eating less. The rest is up to you.

I just started today on the diet. I wanted to ask if instead of the dinner meal if i can have breakfast and then cookies all day? Nights are really rushed for me and I try to squeak in an exercise class
CB, Salt Lake City, UT, United States, October 19 2009

DR. SIEGAL REPLIES: That's a common question, CB, and my answer is always the same. Why tamper with an approach that has worked well for hundreds of thousands of people? Still, in the end, what matters is your total daily calories. As long as you consume less than you need to maintain your weight you'll be successful. However, if you replace the dinner with breakfast, I believe you'll be too hungry during the day to stick to your diet. You can try it and, if you're too hungry, just go back to the recommended regimen.

I just started the diet 10/17/09 and have found that the cookies really do control my hunger. As a stay at home mom, I am surround by food everytime I walk through the kitchen. Now I can walk through the kitchen without stopping for a bite. The only think is that I wish there was a variety that was salty instead of sweet. Maybe something like cheddar cheese, onion or garlic. I have already lost 2.5lbs in 3 days. So if you want fast result I highly recommend this to everyone.
Heather, New London, CT, United States, October 19 2009

I just wanted to let you all know how excited I am to get started with this journey!!! I have a feeling that I am going to be very successful and I've checked with a registered dietician to ensure that 1000 - 1200 calories was an acceptable caloric intake. I've placed my order today as I have about 60 lbs to lose! I can't wait to see the results!!!
Anne, Denver, CO, United States, October 13 2009

Dr. Siegal; Just wanted to say thanks for restoring hope and a positive direction in my life. I was about 30 lbs overweight when I started the diet. I exercise regularly but always found it impossible to control my weight. I averaged a two pound per year weight gain for the past 20 years. My cholesterol and blood sugar were starting to become dangerously high. Since starting the diet two months ago, I am down over 20 lbs. have slightly less than 10 to go and have witnessed major declines in cholesterol, blood sugar and blood pressure. Thanks so much, I really couldn't have done it without you.
Kerry, White Plains, NY, United States, October 11 2009

DR. SIEGAL REPLIES: You've made my day, Kerry! Now, a word of caution. It isn't uncommon for people who are at your stage of weight loss to "take a break" from their diet, to "reward" themselves by eating excessively. AVOID THAT TRAP! In my experience, people who fall off the wagon before reaching their goal will gain back most of the weight they lost before they are motivated to resume their diet. So don't stop. Keep going and reach your goal.

have been on the diet for the past 2 weeks have lost about 6 lbs .. I like it because it control my hunger.. use only about 3 a day LOVE IT.. bought the cookies at your store in Beverly Hills,Ca the girl was super nice and explain it to me and let me try different ones
Cynthia, Los Angeles, CA, United States, September 30 2009

THANK YOU!!!! I went on your diet to try and eliminate the 5 lbs I put on while in Disney World. One week & it worked like magic!!!!! I love your cookies, will continue to use them & will certainly recommend them to others. thank again.
Susan, Egg Harbor Township, NJ, United States, September 30 2009

hi doc down 42 lbs since I started your great diet. Even on weekend when I have dinner out with my daughter I still eat maybe a small salad and don't even finish that I average 3 to 4 cookies a day and thats fine for me. thanks doc
Milton, West Palm Beach, FL, United States, September 29 2009

DR. SIEGAL REPLIES: You're very welcome, Milton. Make sure that you eat at least 1,000 calories a day and that you have your doctor advise you as to the exact number of calories you should have each day.

i tried only 1 cookie last monday from a friend. i ate the cookie at 2pm and drink plenty of water. i didn't feel hungry until i got home at 7pm which made me eat only a piece of chicken leg that night. after that 1 day incident i decided to check the cookdiet website. i was so surprise with all the testimonies and i really saw my friend lose weight by just having a cookie.but my problem ordering is $$$. this afternoon while reading the fan mail i decided to refer a friend. thinking i will take advantage of the discounts in referring a friend. after 10 mins my friend called me up and ask me about the email. i explained it to her.now i am waiting for my 1st box that i will try. with my friends help she ordered 2 boxes (1 for me 1 for her). can't wait to start it. after we finish one box we will order again.just in time for our paychecks. thank you dr. siegal. i hope this will work even without exercise because of my busy schedule at work...thank you...
Dona, Montreal, QC, Canada, September 26 2009

DR. SIEGAL REPLIES: There's no question that it will work, Dona. If you follow a diet of 1,000 to 1,200 daily calories, success is guaranteed. Be sure to see your doctor first and ask him or her to advise you on the actual number of calories you should consume. As for exercise, I advocate light exercise while on a reduced-calorie diet and much more when you reach the lifetime weight maintenance phase. Again, though, consult your doctor before beginning an exercise regimen. (By the way, unless you buy 4 or more boxes at a time to get free shipping, you'll find it more affordable to buy your cookies in Montreal than online. There are locations in Fairview Pointe Claire, Carrefour Laval, Pincourt, and La Salle).

I lost 6 lbs the first week and have 15 to go! But is it ok to eat 5 cookies during the day and eat the last one a couple hours after dinner?
Cindy, Thousand Oaks, CA, United States, September 26 2009

CONSUMER RELATIONS REPLIES: As long as you're not too hungry before dinner then that's fine. Remember, the cookie is for when hunger strikes. As for losing 6 pounds in one week, be careful not to set false expectations. While a person can lose as much as 3 to 4 pounds of fat in a week's time, amounts much beyond that can be attributed to differences in clothing weight, scale inaccuracy, and so forth.

I started this diet on 9/18/09 @ 228 lbs and today 9/22/09 222 lbs, Stick to the diet and drink your water, I am a believer i see results wow.
Gulda, Annapolis, MD, United States, September 22 2009

I started the diet September 5th and in two weeks have already lost 11 pounds and 1 1/2 in my waist. I have tried many diets before, but this by far easier and faster than the others.
Michele, Lewisburg, WV, United States, September 21 2009

DR. SIEGAL REPLIES: Sounds like you're off to a great start!

I started the diet August 24 and I'm down 15 pounds, this is the only diet that I am sticking to and see results, I have 25 pounds more to lose. Thanks Dr. Siegal!
Stephanie, Sunrise, FL, United States, September 20 2009

DR. SIEGAL REPLIES: You're welcome, Stephanie. Great job!

After 2 months and 3 days, I have just completed losing 20 ugly pounds which is all I wanted to lose. At my age it makes an incredible difference both in appearance and in my health. His was the easiest weight loss program to follow in my life. I will continue with the cookies during the week and eat normally on the weekends to maintain my loss. You should see the difference. Thanks
Marianne, Beaconsfield, Quebec, Canada, September 13 2009

DR. SIEGAL REPLIES: Congratulations on reaching your goal, Marianne! For weight maintenance, I'm a big believer in exercise. Consider asking your doctor to suggest an exercise regimen that's appropriate for you.

I started the diet in April to lose 15 pounds. To date I have lost 25 pounds! I was not hungry with the cookies and they were convenient in my busy schedule.
Anna, Coppell, TX, United States, August 27 2009

Thanks doc. best thing ever happened to me. down 23lbs. this works. starting weight 360lbs, my goal is 200lbs. This will not be a problem with your cookie thanks again.
Milton, West Palm Beach, FL, United States, August 24 2009

I have been yoyo dieting for the last 5 years. Today I finally found the right diet for me - dr. siegal's cookie diet. I did not crave for food and I'm not hungry. I am so excited for the results!
Lyn, Vaudreuil Dorion, Canada, August 20 2009

Today is August 20 and it is my first day on dr. siegal's cookie diet. I have to admit that I am a little skeptical. I would like to lose 10 pounds, and am having a very difficult time doing so. My fingers are crossed that I see success as quickly as everyone else is reporting that they are.
Marla, Toronto, Canada, August 20 2009

Thank you for coming to Montreal. I started yesterday and this morning was down 3 pounds....I will keep on going.
Sandra, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Canada, August 18 2009

Noura, Palos Heights , IL, United States, August 15 2009

I have now lost 10 pounds and many inches. I am finally able to wear a shirt that I could not put my arms into the sleeves. I am thrilled.
Jennifer, Angier, NC, United States, August 13 2009

ok so im 20 yrs old and ive done the cookie diet b4 and lost 30 pounds which i was sooo happy about within a spand of 1month and a bit...... and im starting it again today cuz i have more to loose im currently 200 pounds and im supposed to b max 170 so 30 more to go i cant wait :D :DI CANT WAIT
Shoshannah, Montreal, Canada, August 13 2009

Ok so today is the first day I will try this diet. Im so excited but a little scared that maybe it wont work for me like it did for everyone else... I got bad luck with diets. But i'm excited to try this one :) wish me luck!
Jennifer, Laredo, TX, United States, August 10 2009

DR. SIEGAL REPLIES: "Luck" has nothing to do with successful weight loss, Jennifer. It's a matter of motivation, discipline, and hunger control. On 1,000 or even 1,2000 calories a day, EVERYONE loses weight. There are no failures at that level. Ask your doctor to suggest the right amount of calories for you; follow any instructions he gives you; and stick to your diet until you reach your goal weight. If you do, your success is certain.

So today is my first day on the diet, I too am surprised at how the cookies fill me up, but just like Robin I too have to watch myself we were picking veggies in the garden and It was just habit to pop a sweet pea in my mouth and a baby carrot I hope it won't hurt my results for today. my goal is 20 pounds I will keep you posted next Sat to tell you how it is going.
Tania, Barrie, Canada, August 08 2009

DR. SIEGAL REPLIES: Peas and carrots are high in carbohydrates which tend to stimulate hunger. While it's better to pop a pea or two than a donut, if hunger becomes a problem, consider avoiding such impulses.

Ok i am now down 116 lbs so far with only 47 more to go. i got a clean bill health from my doctor this past week he said that he couldn't find anything wrong! just goes to show that this way of dieting is safe regardless of what the nay sayers say! NEVE FELT BETTER!
Marty, Gilbert, AZ, United States, August 08 2009

DR. SIEGAL REPLIES: You're doing great, Marty, and you're almost there. I'm delighted that you're dieting the right way by including your doctor in the process.

i just started the cookie diet and am so excited. I lost 2.5 lbs when I got on the scale this morning. YAY. I'm not hungry just trying to stop the habit of reaching for food. Thanks Dr. Siegal for a great product.
Robin , Long Beach, CA, United States, August 03 2009

I started last Saturday, July 25. Today is my one week weigh in and I'm so excited! I started at 215 lbs and I'm down to 207. That's 8 pounds lost! I was skeptical at first that these cookies would keep me full until dinner, but they are great! I never feel like I'm starving. They are also so convenient because I often work long hours without a break. I can just grab a cookie and my water bottle and keep going through the day! I can not wait to see the results of next week. I will keep everyone posted. Thank you so much for having such a wonderful plan that's so easy to stick to!
Krysten, Webster, TX, United States, August 01 2009

I ordered Dr. Siegal's cookies and lost 30 pounds! I have already told a few co-workers who seem to want to try it after seeing my results. Thanks Dr. Siegal
Vince, Sacramento, CA, United States, July 31 2009

I just started my plan yesterday and and am not hungry at all. This feels way too easy and love the fact that I can eat a nice meal for dinner. I'm looking forward to showing you my results when I'm finished losing about 100lbs. My Dr will be so happy for me and I will be happy as well.
Natalie, Peoria, AZ, United States, July 29 2009

I started the diet on July 22nd and I have already lost 7 pounds and at least three inches in my waist. I am wearing a belt that I was not able to buckle in the first hole before the diet, I just buckled it in the 5th hole! I eat whatever I fix everyone for dinner, so if I switc h to a frozen meal I know my results will be faster. The cookies do take hunger away and it is a easy diet to stick to .
Jennifer, Angier, NC, United States, July 29 2009

hi! I started my diet yesterday July 27...i love the cookies ,they really fill me up ...i have a question is it bad to eat the cookies at the same time everyday? I eat one every 2 hrs and im satisfied.
Elyssia, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Canada, July 28 2009

CONSUMER RELATIONS REPLIES: As long as your hunger is satisfied and you are able to stick to the daily calories that your doctor and you have chosen, that should be fine. Just remember that the cookies are for satisfying hunger.

I started the diet the day after Mothers day and in 1 month lost 25 lbs. The fifth week that went up to 30lbs. I am maintaining and recommend everyone to do this diet. Its the easiest out there. The first week I lost 7lbs. Everyone is shocked when they ask how I did it and I reply, "I ate a bunch of cookies every day!!" Thanks a ton for a great weight loss product. No side effects other than weight loss!
Jenifer, Haysville, KS, United States, July 26 2009

DR. SIEGAL REPLIES: Another customer has made my day. You're very welcome, Jenifer, and thank YOU for sharing your story!

I just began the Cookie diet on 7-24-09. What a nice surprise that the cookies taste so good! I ordered chocolate, oatmeal/raisen, and banana. I can't decide which flavor I enjoy the most. I usually warm a cookie in my microwave for a few seconds and they taste like they're freshly baked, although they're very good right out of the package too. I think this is going to be easy for me.
Kay, Columbus, OH, United States, July 26 2009

DR. SIEGAL REPLIES: Great attitude, Kay. Zapping the cookies in the microwave for no more than 5 seconds does give them a "fresh from the oven" taste and texture. As for "easy" dieting, losing weight is never fun but reaching your goal is certainly worth it. Maintain your great attitude, follow your doctor's advice, and post an update when you reach your goal.

I just order 28 weeks I am ready I have tried everyones diet Dr. S sounds so good I know I can do it I need to loss about 50lbs and I can stick to this its a cookie that in it self is half the battle. I have others waiting to see if it works for me so I am sooo ready lets do it Doctor
Arlene, Arlington, TX, United States, July 21 2009

I just wanted to give an update on my fabulous cookie diet which I am in love with! I started on July 13th, so this is the 9th day of my cookie diet. As of today, I am down to 128lbs from 135lbs! I've lost 7lbs in 9 days! I have to say, with the upmost honesty, this diet is wonderful & it works! I don't feel weak, tired, cranky or get headaches & nausea like I do so much from other diets I have tried...hence why I stop dieting! I eat a cookie with a glass of water everytime I get hungry & it fills me up! I ordered the chocolate cookies, which I love! I am allowed up to 6 cookies a day but sometimes I don't need all 6 because of how full they make me! I have a healthy frozen dinner w/ a glass of water when I get home at 5pm & that's it! I also take the multivitamin everyday. I never feel hungry or starved & I love that! This is the easiest, most comfortable diet I've ever been on & the weight is just coming off so fast! I have 18lbs left to loose & at this rate, I know I can do it! I hope to be back to my goal weight of 110lbs by Labor Day weekend!Thank you so much Dr. Siegal for providing me & everyone else such a wonderful product! = )
Jennifer, Temple City, CA, United States, July 21 2009

I have tried diets my whole life, after haveing 5 children nothing worked. I have lost 40 pounds in 3 months with your diet. Thank you so much for changing my life!!!!
Brenda, Mesa, AZ, United States, July 21 2009

DR. SIEGAL REPLIES: Great job, Brenda. Now comes the maintenance part. You should ask your family physician for suggestions on appropriate exercise and eating.

These cookies are delicious. I have been on the diet for 3 days and am loving it.
Tina, Chantilly, VA, United States, July 15 2009

I saw Dr. Siegal's Cookie Diet on a Canadian TV station and decided that this will be my final shot at trying to lose weight. Right now I am at my heaviest I have ever been. I ordered the cookies on July 3rd and I received them July 13th. I am am so excited, I am hoping and praying that this is the miracle I have been searching for. I am so depress because of my weight. My goal is to lose 40lbs. Everyone please root for me. I will be sure to update you as I started my journey today, July 14th.
Dionne, Toronto, Canada, July 14 2009

Today is 7 weeks and I have lost 24 lbs. I cannot believe the results. I am finding that this is the easiest diet I have ever been on. I have had more people inquire how I have done it. I have sent more people to the mall to buy the cookies. Its very exciting. Best of luck to you.
Kelly, Phoenix, AZ, United States, July 13 2009

DR. SIEGAL REPLIES: Thank you for the update, Kelly! Sounds like you're doing great!

I just ordered a 4-week supply of the chocolate cookies & I cannot wait to receive them! I've read all of the testimonials on this website & it sounds like this diet is the answer to my prayers! I am currently 135lbs on a 5'2 frame & I wish to lose 25lbs to get back to my original weight 2 years ago of 110lbs! I gained 25lbs in 2 years! = ( BUT...I know I can achieve my goal with this plan after all of the success stories I have seen here! Thank you all for sharing your goals, success stories & positive attitudes! I will post an update of my weight-loss on the 7th day of my cookie diet! Thank you Dr. Siegal, for offering your product to all of us & helping so many people accomplish their weight goals! = )
Jennifer, Temple City, CA, United States, July 01 2009

DR. SIEGAL REPLIES: You're very welcome, Jennifer. Please keep us posted on your progress.

Today is July 1st. I have lost a total of 15 pounds as of this morning. I started on May 1st. , lost 12 pounds the first month and 3 pounds the second month. As I look back on June, I believe I ate too much on my one meal. I actually was satisfied with the cookies, but waited too long for my one meal and it became too large. That being said, I still lost 3 lbs. for the month and am starting my 3rd. month today. Good luck to everyone.
Donna, Fort Wayne, IN, United States, July 01 2009

DR. SIEGAL REPLIES: It's not unusual to underestimate the amount of calories in your dinner, Donna. Frozen foods can be a good choice because you know exactly how many calories you're getting. In Dr. Siegal's Cookie Diet Book, I included a section to help you choose the right foods for dinner.

I ordered my cookies on Monday the 22nd and eageraly anticipate their arrival. I plan on starting Monday the 29th and I would like to lose about 90-100 pounds. I really believe I can do it with this plan. I plan on having many positive updates to give.
Clayton, Wylie, TX, United States, June 25 2009

I started my cookie diet exactly a week ago and I am so excited. I have lost 1 lb. each day. I have lost 7 lbs. in 1 week! I knew I could do it because I did it before with these cookies. My sister is coming for a visit July 4th and I am planning on having lost a total of 16 lbs. by the time she arrives. Now tell me, what diet can youlose weight so fast on. I have tried every diet around. This one is the best. I will keep you posted weekly.
Peggy, Syracuse, NY, United States, June 24 2009

I started the diet 3 weeks ago, but to my chagrin now, I only ordered a 2 week supply and had to wait an entire week for the next supply to come. I lost 6 lbs in the first 2 weeks and I am starting again tomorrow! I am so excited to be back on as I missed it duing my "off" week. Dr. Siegal, you are a genius and I promise you that I am going to stick with this diet and lose the 20 lbs that I still have to go! I will definitely keep you posted! WIsh me luck in my pursuit!
Lucy, Oakland, CA, United States, June 22 2009

Thank you, Dr. Seigal. This is the only diet that I have been able to lose the weight. I am now 28 pounds lighter and have 10 more to go!
Joni, Miami, FL, United States, June 20 2009

I went to my first doctors appt. I got the cookies i will start the diet on saturday am anxious. A co-worker is doing the diet she has lost over 50 pounds so i decided to try it. Wish me luck!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yudith, Hialeah, FL, United States, June 17 2009

Today is my 1st day of Dr. Siegal's cookie diet. I am so excited because I know these cookies work. I tried this diet when I lived in Miami back in 1979. I went to the Kendell office there. I loved the cookies then and I lost weight. Then I moved and was unable to get the cookies in the state I moved to. Throughout the years I always wondered about how I could get these cookies and just recently I saw the diet on tv. I was so excited and sent away for them. So, of course it has been years and I weigh 50 lbs. more than I did then, but I know I will be back down to my goal weight before Fall. I just wish I had known I could buy them online before the summer. I was hoping to lose weight before having to go through a hot summer because when your Heavy you feel like you just can't wear shorts and sleeveless shirts comfortably. Wow, this is so good, I am so excited. Dr. Siegel, I hope you have your cookie recipe left somewhere so when you are no longer here, we can still get your cookie. I'll keep you posted and Dr. Siegel, I hope to be your next poster fan. I cannot send pictures from my computer yet, but, I will send some soon.
Peggy, Syracuse, NY, United States, June 17 2009

DR. SIEGAL REPLIES: What a nice note, Peggy. You're right, it HAS been a long time! I still see patients in the Kendall office, and don't worry, my formula and cookies will be around for a very long time to come.

Today has been 3 weeks and I have lost 14lbs and counting. I can clearly see the difference in my clothing. This has been an amazing experience. I have spoken to women and convinced them to try it. So, until next Monday.
Kelly, Phoenix, AZ, United States, June 15 2009

I just ordered my first months cookies and shakes 2 days ago and am anxiously awaiting my delivery. One year ago I had Lap-Band surgery and have not had any luck with it at all. I am so disapointed and frustrated and I needed some motivation. Dr. Siegal, I am going to make this work and become your next poster-child. Wish me luck!!!
Susan, Ottawa, IL, United States, June 14 2009

For a couple of years I had been looking for a diet that I knew I could follow and when I heard about Dr. Siegal's Cookie Diet on TV it sounded intriguing. I started it on Feb 1, 2009 weighing 216 pounds and set a goal of losing 30 pounds. I used the cookies as a hunger suppressant during the day while I was at work and then ate very reasonable meals in the evening at home. Before the diet I ate out every day at lunch and then would eat a full dinner at home as well. On May 15th I weighed 186, which was my target weight. Now as a maintenance program I eat a cookie some time in the morning before lunch when I feel a little hungry and then have a light lunch. I normally have another cookie in the afternoon and then a healthy dinner. I have been able to maintain my weight at 186 very easily. For the first time I have people noticing that I have lost weight! Thanks Dr. Siegal.
Monty, Houston, TX, United States, June 14 2009

This is my 3rd day on the program and I am loving it. I have lost 2 pounds already. It is very easy to use. I have an on the go lifestyle and it's great not having to carry food around with me, except the cookies. I have not been hungry at all. It is definetly motivating and I am looking foward to my first week results.
Patty, Mechanicsville, MD, United States, June 14 2009

I have been looking for something that could give me the results I wanted to see, and this is definitely starting out to be a great investment. I have struggled with the ups and downs in my weight from having medical issues and the rx's causing me to gain weight. With this plan I don't have to worry about taking more herbal supplements that make me feel ill and could cause issues with my current meds. I started the diet on Monday, June 8th (3 days ago!) and have already lost 4 lbs and my day isn't even 1/2 way through for day #4! I feel ok, not hungry, but still struggle with the URGE to eat out of habit. I have been able to stave off the want and see some results. I hope to be down 20 lbs by my vacation in August!
Chrissy, Frederick, MD, United States, June 11 2009

I ordered one box (a weeks worth) to try the cookies as I was afraid I wouldn't like the taste. I loved the oatmeal raisin cookies ( the first box I bought). I started losing weight right away, but I messed up because I had to wait to get my second order. I have now lost 16 pounds. I am 55 years old and have bad knees. I have been told by my doctors that I must lose 100 pounds. This has always seemed unattainable to me until now. For the first time, I believe I can do this. I go to water aerobics daily and eat my cookies. My knees feel better having lost the 16 pounds. I have now tried the chocolate cookies and the chocolate shakes and like them both. Thank you Dr. Siegal for giving me hope.
Judy, Rio Rancho, NM, United States, June 10 2009

I started my cookie diet on May 1 2009 and lost 16 lbs in the first month. I am a nurse and have researched and tried many diets. I am 57 years old and have HTN and prediabetic. Since being on the diet my blood sugars have dropped drastically and my blood pressure has gotten much better. The cookies taste very good and I follow the low carb and low calorie dinners. I also stopped all soda and drink only water and tea. I no longer have any swollen ankles. I have so much more energy. Thanks Dr Siegal for a wonderful product. I plan to stay on the diet as it is so easy to do.I have about 75 lbs to go and know it will not be easy, but I am more motivated each day when I see such good results!!
Micky, St. Louis, MO, United States, June 10 2009

It has been 4 weeks and I have lost 10lbs. I am excited because I never lost that much before. 10lbs more to loose. My family can already see the difference and I am well pleased!
May, Montreal, QC, Canada, June 10 2009

I've always had issues with dieting and losing weight. Janis in your in the Beverly Hills store, encouraged me to come in and try the cookies. Dr. Siegal's Cookie Diet is the best diet I've ever tried and it works! I knew after the first day I could do this diet. I had no headaches, the cookies taste good and controlled my hunger. My favorite flavors are the oatmeal raisin, chocolate and blueberry in that order. I lost 9lbs in 3 weeks and feeling good. I'm very thankful for Janis's positive support and with keeping me encouraged and helping my family and friends lose weight. Thanks for great product and thanks again Janis for showing the way!
Stephanie, Los Angeles, CA, United States, June 09 2009

I've lost about 23lbs. by following the Dr. Siegal's Cookie Diet!!! I like the oatmeal raisin and chocolate cookies the best. I am a receptionist for a beauty salon and spa. Many of the clients have noticed my weight loss, and have also started eating the cookies. I find it so easy to take the cookies every where I go during the day. My dinner consists of a balanced meal. I usually drink the shakes on the weekends. I have also gone off the diet during some weekends, and started again during the week.I find when I gain some weight, I just go back on the cookies, and I'm able to monitor my weight gain and keep it under control. I truly find Dr. Siegal's Diet very satisfying and I love the results. I recommend it to anyone who needs to lose weight. I purchase the cookies and shakes at the Galleria Mall in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. The sales associate who usually waits on me is Marie. Thanks for a great product!!!
Myrna, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, United States, June 09 2009

It has been two weeks and I have lost 10lbs. I can see the difference and so can others. Now I am motivated more than ever. Talk to you next week. Thanks.
Kelly, Phoenix, AZ, United States, June 09 2009

DR. SIEGAL REPLIES: You're off to a great start, Kelly. Keep going!

Hi, Its been 6 weeks since I began the diet and I have lost 23 pounds so far. I still have a long way to go but I know that it will happen. I have a few friends from New Castle that have also ordered from the website because they can see the results I have achieved. Its been really easy with the help of the cookies. Thanks again!!
Josie, New Castle, PA, United States, June 03 2009

Still feel very comfortable on this program. June 1st. was one month. Lost 12 lbs. What I would like, though would be more of an area where we could ask questions, chat, etc. Is this available already and I just don't know about it?
Donna, Fort Wayne, IN, United States, June 03 2009

I lost 25 lbs.since March 2nd 2009. I stopped taking pantoloc, since I have no more heart burn and acid reflux. Feel great. I have only 7 lbs left. Thank-You. Sue
Sue, Montreal, Canada, June 02 2009

This is my first day on the cookie diet and my biggest fear (that the cookies would taste awful and I'd have to choke them down) was completely unfounded. The cookies actually taste good! I'm 5'8" and have about 30 pounds to lose to acheive a healthy weight for my height. I'm terrible at dieting, as I usually experience headaches and dips in the blood sugar that leave me feeling listless, tired and crabby. As yet, none of that! I feel full, content and far more willing to give THIS diet a better shot! Wish me luck, everyone! This is going to be a great summer!
Martine, Montreal, Canada, June 02 2009

I started on May 25, 2009 and I have lost 6lbs. My first day was challenging in the evening. However, I survived. Today, I am starting week 2 hopefully I will be equally as successful. Wish me luck. Until next Monday.
Kelly, Phoenix, AZ, United States, June 01 2009

I started the diet May 18/09 and found the week went well. I wasn't hungry and I'm in the process of learning what to eat for my one meal a day. I must be learning well. I weight myself May 26/09 and have already lost 12.8 lbs. I can even feel the difference. Can't wait to weight in next week. These cookies really help you stick to your diet.
Donna, Montreal, Canada, May 26 2009

I love the chocolate cookies but my black lab named Blue loves them even more. He found my box of cookies waiting in the driveway. He smelled them through the plastic bag, the cardboard box, and the plastic cookie bag. He proceeded to eat everyone in the box at one time. I wish I had been there to see the look on his face when he realized how tasty they are. I thought you would enjoy this.
Donna , Macon, GA, United States, May 26 2009

Have been on the diet for 3 weeks and have lost 8.5 lbs. With my screwy schedule on night shift, this is the best sucess I have had. Although my thyroid function was normal, my doctor also found my vitamin D level was very low, and we are hoping that getting my level to normal will also boost my weight loss results. Will keep you posted.
Jeanie, Lawrence, KS, United States, May 25 2009

I've been on a diet on and off for a year know. After 3 month's off weight watchers I had lost 14 pounds, for me results were long to acheive. Last week i received my maid of honor dress and it did not fit . That's when i discover the dr. siegal's cookie diet . Finally a easy diet for a nurse and mom off two . After a week of cookie eating and reasonnable dinner I'm happy to report that my dress is finally fitting I lost 6 pounds in a week and will keep going on for a while . If the dress get to big I will get fit. Thank's Dr siegal your giving me my body back and my self esteem!
Sophie, Vaudreuil, Canada, May 15 2009

It's been 1 week and so far I've lost 6 lbs. I hope it's ok to exercise a little too...because I am so that I don't lose muscle tone. Maybe Dr. Siegal can answer that... Do you recommend exercising? Also, I was concerned about being able to resist the food I was cooking for my family for breakfast and lunches while on this diet...I have to say, it's not a problem...I eat my cookie and beverage before I feed them, then I'm not hungry for anything else. Dinners give me an opportunity to search for and prepare healthy and interesting dinners that my husband and kids also eat. They get to watch mommy eat what they're eating, the only thing that's different is that mommy is watching the portion size. They're learning healthy eating habits with this diet. Thank you, Dr. Siegal.

I began the diet on April 22nd and by May 1st had lost 6 lbs, despite having taken the weekend (Saturday & Sunday) off from my diet. Finally my goal to lose 90 lbs seems to be within reach.
Audrey, Jacksonville, FL, United States, May 13 2009

I have tried everything in the past, and was afraid this was to good to be true. But I had to try this because of the great testimonaials on the fan mail. I am pleased to say I to have lost my first 5 lbs in the first 6 days of eating these cookies. I could not use diet products that I have tried in the past because of the bad way they made me feel. I was so glad when I started eating these cookies I felt nothing but full and content. I have now ordered other flavors and two flavors of shake mixes. They sound real good for the hot days ahead! I have alot of weight to lose but for the first time in a very long time I can see myself reaching my goal! Thank You Dr. Siegal
Carlene, Pocatello, ID, United States, May 10 2009

Ok, I have tried every diet known to man and failed. I get hungry, I get nauseated and end up with a headache before the end of the day. I have been on the cookie diet for 14 days as of today I have lost 12 pounds!! I'm not hungry and have not had any nausea or headaches because my glucose level has remained stable. It is the easiest diet I have ever tried. I'm so excited!!!
Ginger, Louisville, KY, United States, May 07 2009

I am starting my cookie diet in the morning. I had a bag of popcorn tonight since I know that popcorn is a no-no during this diet. I'm 5'4" and 161lbs after 4 kids. Each time I start to work on ME, something seems to happen, pregnancy, injury...you name it. I'm very excited to get results in a less-than-stressful way. I love to cook and I have to cook for my family each day, so I'm going to have to WILL myself to not 'taste' as I cook. This will be easy once I see the pounds drop. I'm attending my class reunion next month and I intend to look GREAT!!! I'll keep you posted!
Kimmi, Santa Paula, CA, United States, May 07 2009

DR. SIEGAL REPLIES: Great attitude, Kimmi! If you haven't done so, consider using the free Weight-By-Date calculator in the Resources section. It's designed to help people reach their goal weight by a specific date such as a reunion.

I started the cookie diet on 4/6/09 and as of 5/4/09, I have lost 21 pounds. Thanks, Dr. Siegal for keeping me motivated!

Hi! i am in week 2 of the cookies. I have been on a healthy eating plan for about 10 weeks prior to starting the cookies and I had already lost a SLOW 12 lbs. SO, I was pleasantly surprised to lose a solid 3 pounds the first week' I am looking forward to my week 2 weigh in on Wed. I find the cookies tasty in all flavors and i found it a matter of training myself to reach for cookie when I had hunger pangs. Then. I had my usual healthy dinner. I could do this for the rest of my life if it continues to work! Thanks Doc!
Shirley, Altoona, PA, United States, May 04 2009

DR. SIEGAL REPLIES: You're very welcome, Shirley!

I just received my cookies today. I work night shift and trying to stay on a complicated diet has not worked for me. I am hoping to lose 40 lbs and re-learn my way of eating. Will keep you posted.

I have been on this cookie diet for 1 month and I have lost 19 lbs to date. I even take 1 day off when I eat out with my family each Sunday. With this kind of progress, I don't ever want to be off of this diet. I am hooked. You have a customer for life.
Kristen, Sanford, FL, United States, April 30 2009

MATTHEW SIEGAL REPLIES: That's great news, Kristen! When you reach your goal, you may choose to continue controlling your hunger with the cookies and just increase your dinner calories to achieve your maintenance level. Of course, the more calories you burn through exercise while on maintenance, the more calories you get to consume.

It has been just 3 days since I started the diet. I have already lost 4 pounds. I have never seen results like this with a diet before, where the weight just literally "metls away." Thank you so much Dr. Siegal for your great program! I am extremely excited to see what will happen in the next week!
Jessica, Centralia, WA, United States, April 29 2009

I have always been trim..58 years...but after losing both my husband and son in a 2 year span, food became my comfort and salvation. I rapidly gained 30 pounds and was not able to get the motivation to lose it. Finally, after reading about the "cookie diet" I made the move to win this battle. Your cookies arrived yesterday and I began this morning. I am finally excited about getting my body back! DR. SIEGAL REPLIES: I applaud your determination, Kay. Keep us posted on your progress.
Kay, Las Vegas, NV, United States, April 29 2009

Ever since I was little, I have been able to achieve any goal I have set for my self, except for losing weight. Despite being born legally blind, nothing has been able to stop me from succeeding. But with a very limited income and no desire to cook from scratch everything I eat every day, I needed something relatively budget-friendly, very simple and something that tastes good. When I first heard about the cookie diet while watching Access, like many others, I was very skeptical. But after doing lots of research online, I decided to visit the California flagship store in Beverly Hills. And once I heard how I can fit this into my budget, and how good the cookies taste, I had to try it for a week. In that first week, I lost 10 lbs and felt fantastic! Since I have a big sweet tooth, nothing sounded more satisfying than being able to eat chocolate cookies and lose weight. So far I have lost 20 pounds, and ultimately, I want to lose 110 pounds total. And now that the Summer is quickly approaching, its great knowing that I can incorporate the shakes to satisfy my cold and sweet cravings when it's hot outside. And by 4th of July, I want to comfortably and loosely fit into this goregous summer dress that I bought 4 years ago, but have never been able to wear.
Isatel, Los Angeles, CA, United States, April 27 2009

I've already lost 7 pounds and gained a whole new outlook on life. Finally, I am the one who is in control of my life, not food! Thank you Dr. Siegal!

I started this diet on March 9th, and since then have lost a total of 24 pounds. I cannot believe how easy this has been to stick with! I have 69 more pounds to go and have just jumpstarted my workout routine with the kettlebell. Once I am done I will post my before and after photos. If you're concerned about not liking the cookies, don't be. They really aren't bad. I favor the chocolate ones.

I came across one of your stores while vacationing in Fort Lauderdale and purchased a box of cookies. My daughter had read an old People Magazine on the airplane that featured Josie losing half her bodyweight. I am so excited, I began the diet on 4-13-09 and have lost 5 pounds in 2 days. The cookies are delicious, I am not hungry or nervous.........hope to have great results, will keep you posted.

I just ordered my first batch of Dr. Siegal's cookies. I must say that I am very excited. I have the OK from my Dr to go ahead and start this weight loss program. I am 38 years young and weigh 180 lbs. I have 40lbs. to lose and I also have high blood pressure. I can't wait to get my cookies so that I can start shedding this extra weight!
Sherrell, Menifee, CA, United States, April 15 2009

DR. SIEGAL REPLIES: Motivation is a key to successful weight loss and you seem to have no shortage. Please keep us informed of your progress!

I started with the cookies on April 4th at 180 lbs. I am currently down to 170 lbs on April 15th and am aiming to get into the 130's. I used cookies from some other "cookie diet" in the past and was unable to stay on the diet past one week as they were not helping to control my appetite and I felt weak. I am so pleased with how I feel and with the positive reinforcement that I get by losing 1-2 lbs every day with these cookies. Thanks Dr. Siegal.
Christina, Exeter, NH, United States, April 15 2009

Marty, Gilbert, AZ, United States, April 07 2009

DR. SIEGAL REPLIES: Marty, you have truly made my day. Sincere congratulations! One correction, though. I didn't get you there, YOU did, and you deserve all the credit. Our cookies helped control your hunger but you did the hard work. Keep going, and be sure to see your family doctor as you do. Your success will be more certain if you do.

I started my cookie diet today and i was truly impressed i followed it and truly have not been hungry i am starting at 331 pounds and I am determined to lose 100 lbs so I will see u at the finish line....DR. SIEGAL REPLIES: I'm glad that you've made the decision to get down to a more healthy weight, Kisha. The best way to ensure that you reach the "finish line" is to stay focused on your goal, and to see your family doctor regularly while you are dieting.
Kisha, Detroit, MI, United States, April 07 2009

I'v been on the cookies for three weeks and I have lost 15lb and still have more to lose I was 215 and know i weigh 195lb I feal much better now.

Dr. Siegal, I began your diet on March 30, at 194 and today, April 6, I was 189. I am thrilled! I have had rheumatoid arthritis for 7 years and gained 150 lbs. I want to get back down to 140lbs. Here we go!! I am on a lot of medications but hope to reduce that with my weight loss. I hope to send pictures with success. DR. SIEGAL REPLIES: That's wonderful news, Sheryl. To ensure your success, be sure to have your family doctor monitor you as you diet. In my experience, people who diet under medical supervision have the best results.
Sheryl, Amarillo, TX, United States, April 06 2009

Joan, Putnam Valley, NY, United States, April 06 2009

DR. SIEGAL REPLIES: I applaud your enthusiasm, Joan. The two most important elements in losing weight are motivation and hunger control. You clearly have the first one, and the cookies will provide the second. Keep us posted on your progress!

I have been on dr. siegal's cookie diet only 4 days and I love it.. I cannot believe how the weight is falling off. I really enjoy the chocolate cookies as I used to wake up and grab a cookie for breakfast but they were the "bad" cookies.. My starting weight was 257 and this morning I weighed 249.. Only 4 days, I cannot wait for the next week.. And on day 3 my energy was great..I will post pics soon too.. Finally I can do this. Thank you Dr. Siegal !

I just ordered my cookies today (3.31.09)! I will start my diet on April 15--I am getting married in Scotland on June 27th and I want to look fabulous for my fiance. I will post bef/aft pictures around June 1st. I can hardly wait to begin!

I started the diet 6 days ago and have lost 8lbs. I thought for sure I would be starving and would cave in but its been easy. I almost have a hard time remembering to eat all the cookies and when its time for dinner I'm full half way though. The vitamins are a bit too strong for me to take with just a cookie so I wait until dinner time.

I just started on the diet today. I am retired and well versed on every diet out there. I guess you could call me a professional dieter. This is it for me. I will succeed!

I started Dr. Siegals' cookie diet on January 13th, today is March 7th and I have lost 24 pounds. I have gone from 253 to 229 in less than 2 months and I am so excited. I feel like I am really going to do it this time. I have cheated exactly 3 times, dinner out, chocolate for valentines day and ice cream with my daughter. I just continued the diet as if I never cheated. WOW! I am so very pleased. Thank you Dr. Siegal! I will add my pictures once I have lost 50 pounds!

I started Dr. Siegal's cookie diet on Feb 1, 2009 and my starting weight was 251. I am now 235 on Mar 3, 2009. I have lost 16 lbs it may seem like a little bit , but it is a lot to me because I could not lose that before I started the diet. I also feel I can continue and lose all of my extra weight. Again I say thank you Dr. Siegal!!
Kizzy, Philadelphia, PA, United States, March 03 2009

I have been on the Dr. Siegal Cookie Diet for about 4.5 weeks. I have lost as of date 20lbs!!! The weight just melts off. I have tried every diet known to man from cabbage soup, grapefruit, atkins, shaklee, slimfast, starvation, detox, you name, I've tried. There is nothing that can compare to what Dr. Siegal has done. I am an RN and I work 12 hour night shifts, I eat a sensible dinner before work and I snack on the cookies all night!! It's great, I'm never hungry, and on my days off I just reverse it. This diet is worth every penny. I have started a portfolio of pictures that will follow when my goal is met!!

Just like my sister Taryn, I did the diet back in 2005. Even when I didn't follow the diet perfectly I lost! I lost over 70lbs! It was so motivating to lose so much weight in the first month alone.

I started with the cookies 2 weeks ago. I have lost 11 pounds and feel good. The cookies are amazing - you feel hungry until you eat a cookie and you are satisfied. I have 60 lbs to go but for the first time I feel confident I can do it!!
LP, Prescott, AZ, United States, February 24 2009

I started Dr. Siegal's Cookie Diet on Feb 2nd, I've been rotating between the cookies & the shakes & taking a multi-vitamin. I've had family here from out of town these last 2 weeks & we ate out the last 2 weekends in a row, so I did a terrible job sticking to a low calorie dinner during those outings. Let it be known that I have done almost all of the most popular diets, tried a ton of different diet pills, fat burner pills & even had my thyroid tested. I was at a dead end, ready to give up on ever loosing weight cause nothing was working - until Dr. Siegal's Cookie Diet, my husband heard about it on the news & encouraged me to try it, I said why not, what could it hurt right. I've tried everything else & have only managed to loose a pound or 2 then put it right back on again. The good news is as of today (day 16), even w/2 bad weekends in a row I still managed to loose 10 pds. I am confident that if I stick to my low calorie dinners & not cheat anymore I will see even better results. I will give an update as I continue to loose weight!
Lisa, El Mirage, AZ, United States, February 18 2009

I started Dr. Siegal's Cookie Diet on Feb. 12th and I have lost 6 pounds! This is truly motivation! My best friend lost weight her first week and I had to try it too. I am trying to lose a total of 15 pounds by March 11th. I will check back and let you know if I have made my goal. I have an awesome start and I couldn't have done it without my COOKIES!!

I have been doing Dr. Siegal's cookie diet since the beginning of June 2008 and have lost 41 pounds and kept it off. I find that on a special occasion when it is difficult not to cheat, I just go right back to the program and in just 1 day everything is back on track.

I was on Dr. Siegal's cookie diet back in 2005 at 15 years old, and lost over 60lbs in 6 months. I was even on their in store video back then. It really changed my life, and I recommend it for any girl (especially teenagers) who have issues with their weight.

I just have reached my 10 lb. weight loss goal and now decided to go for 5 lbs more. My class of preschoolers have been helping me drink my water and make sure I don't "cheat" with food from their lunchboxes. They understand the cookies are for weight loss and adults only. Alyssa age 5 asked me today how many more cookies do I have to eat until I am skinny!!!! Out of the mouth of babes!!!

I JUST received my first order of Cookies and I have to let any "skeptics" know that they taste absolutely GREAT!! They are moist, chewy and very filling and I am SO happy I took the chance to order them!!! I had been on the "other cookie diet" and found DR . SIEGALS to be THE BEST!!! I cant WAIT to report back to everyone a month from now to let you know how I'm doing but with the great flavor of these cookies and the ease of this program I can only imagine success!! Thank you Dr. Siegal!!! Sincerely, Barbara

I used your cookie diet way back in 1979 - 1981 when I was a woman in her late teens and early 20's and they helped me lose 28 pounds. I have been a "weight watcher" ever since and have to tell you by far, the Siegal Cookie diet has been the easiest to stick to and by far my favorite of all time. I have been able to keep my weight in check all of these years and was so glad when you finally offered these diet cookies on line, I have ordered them and use them to "maintain' my desired weight of 120, my highest was 148 when I was young. Thank you, thank you Dr. Siegal!

I MADE A MISTAKE... I have been using Dr. Siegal's cookie products since April of 2008 and I have lost (according to my doctor) over 40 pounds when I saw him in November of 2008. I have not followed Dr. Siegal's program to the letter...but it is still working and I have changed my entire life style based on these cookies. THE MISTAKE I made was I went to reorder my cookies and decided to try a different brand. BIG MISTAKE. I received them yesterday and tried some for breakfast today. They are - by far - the worst tasting product I have ever eaten. There is no way I could stay on that company's product for even one more meal. Thank God I ordered my Dr. Siegal's cookies the day after just in case I wouldn't be happy. We all think that these "diets" get a little old and boring...so we quit or change it up for ourselves. I was wrong and I will never change from this company's product. I can follow their directions and eat their products when I want and still lose weight. When I have been asked what I've done to change the way I look and feel; all I've said is that I changed my life style; which in my mind; that is all I've done. So I apologize Dr. Siegal for trying to change it up a little and I thank you for the products that you make and distribute. If my letter can stop anyone person from wasting the $133.00 or more that I did; than I have accomplished my goal. Thank you for reading this.
Bob, Chicago, IL, United States, January 22 2009

Although no one feels sympathetic to a 4'10" woman who is a mere 10lbs overweight and who eats healthy all the time, the bottom line was my clothes didn't fit and I couldn't lose the weight no matter what I did. All thyroid tests were normal so I just attributed it to menopause but was unwilling to give up. Several people had mentioned your diet, and it seemed so easy for a busy attorney who never stops for a meal, I gave it a try. A photo wouldn't show the difference so I won't bother to send one, but EVERYTHING FITS! That's all I wanted. Thanks thanks, thanks. I LOVE Dr. Siegal.

I lost over 70lbs on dr. siegal's cookie diet and I have kept my weight off for almost a year now. I started at 275lbs and now I maintain a 200lb weight standing approximately 6'3 tall. I honestly cant thank Dr. Siegal enough in helping me lose the weight I needed to become a healthier more active person. Thank you Dr. Siegal!

I own a small pharmacy in Santa Monica, CA. This town is a tight knit community, where doctors and pharmacists have a direct and real relationship with their patients. Word spreads fast in Santa Monica, as referrals are the highest form of advertisement, as well as honor. I found that Dr. Siegal and his team fit perfectly in this familial setting. Their advice was whole-hearted as they showed concern in my business and its success. I had the pleasure of first meeting with Dr. Siegal before any arrangements were made. He personally took me through every step and process of Dr. Siegal’s Cookie Diet, from use to nutrients and also sales. The guarantees that he made to me were met in every instance, which showed me that his team is professional and able to deliver. While most diets are filled with gimmick and trickery, I found that Dr. Siegal's Cookie Diet was not only healthy, but also an enjoyable way to lose weight. As my usual patients would come in to fill a prescription, they would also pick up a box of these cookies. By word-of-mouth, many more locals would stop by to pick up a box. Before long, people from all over the city were traveling to my pharmacy. Not only was Dr. Siegal indirectly helping with the weight problem of our nation, but also keeping my business busy with new patients. My pharmacy became known as the place to buy these cookies. I used Dr. Siegal's cookies to reach a healthy weight back in 2003 and I've kept it off. I was even on Good Morning America with Dr. Siegal back then. Now I use the cookies occasionally as a snack. Before a big meal (like Thanksgiving!) I eat a cookie to curb my appetite.

I’ve been a life-long dieter, and was successful on all diets but Dr. Siegal’s Cookie Diet gave me results like no other diet I had ever experienced. Not only was it life changing for me, but I have helped dozens of people achieve the same success. Dr. Siegal’s Cookie Diet is a no-brainer and extremely adaptable to everyday life…no matter where you are…no matter what you’re doing. I lost 74 lbs. and have kept the weight off for over 2 years. I always have a supply of cookies on hand; they are nutritious and they help control my hunger. Losing weight with Dr. Siegal’s Cookies never tasted so good! In February 2008, Channel 2 in New York invited me to NYC to be in a TV interview with Dr. Siegal!

I tried every diet there is before I became a patient of Dr. Siegal's in his Davie office. The cookies did a good job of keeping me from being too hungry. I ate a reasonable dinner at night and now I'm 65 lbs. lighter. A couple of months ago I was invited to Jacksonville to be on a news show with Dr. Siegal. It was great fun.
